Hi y’all! Um, how is it already July? It’s time for my June Beauty Faves! I can definitely tell that summer is in full swing when I started to pull together my most used items of the month.
My first favorite of the month is the Jergens Natural Glow Daily Moisturizer. It’s a gradual tan lotion that works! I don’t have streaks and I only need to use it 2 or 3 days in a row to get a glowy, fresh from the beach, tan. For this fair girl, that’s a dream! Make sure you pick up the Medium to Tan shade even if you’re fair/light in skintone naturally. Trust me! The fairer version is extremely orange!
Next is another moisturizer. I know what you’re thinking. Why do you need two? I alternate the two since I don’t use the gradual tan lotion every day. If you want glowy, beachy skin, Sol de Janeiro Brazilian Bum Bum Cream is for you! And let’s talk about the scent. OMG! It smells like caramel and pistachio. So delicious! I’ve used this for a couple years now and I love it so much. It really is extremely moisturizing. It also has tiny micro glitters in it. Don’t let that scare you. It’s not like 90s roll on body glitter by any means. When the sun catches it, you look like a goddess! I’ll link the travel size below.
Now that are body is all hydrated, let’s talk lips! My current favorite lip balm is the Kiehl’s Lip Balm #1. It’s not sticky, but definitely more moisturizing than a typical balm. I like to put it on before I do my makeup in the morning to prep my lips. Sometimes I don’t put on any lip products at all. I just wear the balm out and about. It leaves a nice glossy finish. Perfect for summer!
Since my maternity leave, I’ve done the opposite from a lot of women. New moms love to cut their hair short. So much that my hairdresser told me she wouldn’t cut my hair short even if I asked her to do it! Good news is I knew I wanted to try to grow my hair longer. It’s just so easy to pull it up when it’s longer. You may have heard of postpartum hair loss. I’m here to tell you it’s real.
Mine took forever to fall out. Like 4 or 5 months postpartum. Now, I have tiny baby hairs everywhere! I also have a ton of hair, but it’s very fine. I needed to ensure that while it gets longer, it doesn’t look sad and limp. That’s when I found the John Frieda Blow Out Spray from Fine to Full. I spritz it in my roots and my hair looks so much more voluminous! I can’t say enough good things about this product.
I’ve really gotten into using more cream products. They’re easy and look so natural on the skin. It’s hard to look cakey. My next favorite is the Flower Beauty Blush Bomb in Pinched. You just need a couple drops and you look fresh and sunkissed! Who wouldn’t want that? I use a beauty sponge to apply it and I think it just looks flawless. I definitely want to check out more shades.
Those are some of the products I’ve been loving this month. What’s your go-to summer beauty product? Leave it in the comments below! Thanks for stopping by and don’t forget to subscribe to my newsletter for more fun!
