You’ll never guess what I got in the mail last month. Ok, ok you might by the title. I got my Winter Fab Fit Fun Box! To be honest, this one kind of snuck up on me with the holidays. It’s not easy keeping your toddler away from your Christmas tree!
This is my third Fab Fit Fun Box and I was definitely excited when I got to make my selections! Overall, the last box (Fall 2019) was good, but I think this one is even better!
Spoiler alert: My box was worth $284!!!
Before I jump into everything I got in my box, let’s talk details. So Fab Fit Fun is a Seasonal Subscription Box (Summer, Fall, Winter, Spring). Each season you get a mix of beauty, home, fitness, or fashion items. You even get to customize some of the items in your box! I don’t remember being able to do that with other subscriptions! That’s for sure my favorite part of FFF.
How much does it cost?
It’s $49 per box. Now, if this is your very first box, you can get $10 off by clicking my link below. That makes the box just $40. You’ll definitely want to take advantage of that discount once you see what I got.
So, what did I get?
The first selection was between 1) Rebecca Minkoff Hat and Arm Warmer Set: $70 2) Kate Somerville Goat Milk Moisturizing Cream 3) Faux Fur Blanket 4) R+CO Shampoo and Conditioner 5) Candle
I chose the Rebecca Minkoff Set. I thought it was really cute, but when I tried it on, it wasn’t for me. Now, I am going to gift it to my sister. I do think it’s more her style. You may want to keep gifts in mind especially with the Winter Box. It’s a good way to get some Christmas Gifts out of the way if you think the person, you’re buying for will like the items.
If I had to do it all over again, I would select the blanket. It looked really soft.
Next choice:1) Lashes MD Lash Conditioner 2) PJ Faux Fur Slippers 3) Erno Lazlo Clay Mask 4) Ban.Do Bluetooth Shower Speaker $30
I chose the shower speaker. It looked like something cool. I love listening to music when I’m getting ready and I thought I’d get some use out of it. I already have some amazing slippers, but I almost selected those to give as a gift. The speaker is really easy to set up. Just be careful where you suction it. You don’t want to risk breaking it if it falls.
Third and final choice: 1) Rose Gold Circle Bracelet 2) Baddington Lashes 3) Karuna Face for All Face and Eye Mask Set $42 4) Rodial Soft Focus Glow Drops
I chose the Karuna Face For All Face and Eye Mask Set. I’ve used a couple different Karuna Face Masks in the past (I think the anti-aging one) and I remembered loving them! You can get them at Ulta Beauty and they retail for about $8 each! This kit came with 6 Face Masks and 1 Eye Masks ranging from Hydrating to Anti-Aging to Brightening to Anti-Oxidant.
I love face masks especially in the winter! Your face gets left out in cold more often than not and that can leave you feeling dry and wind burnt. Putting on a hydrating face mask is all you need! I’m very happy with my choice.
Items 4 & 5:
If you have an annual subscription, you are able to choose your next two items in your box. I am just a seasonal subscription member, so Fab Fit Fun picks for me. However, they sent to two items I would have picked!
- Beauty Bakerie Proof is in the Puddin’ Palette $38
- Vera Mona Color Switch $16.99
The Beauty Bakerie Palette is a lovely warm neutrals palette with matte and shimmer shades. I think they’re creamy and easy to use. Beauty Bakerie is also sold at Ulta Beauty and has been a brand I’ve been dying to try! It blends super easy and I love the shimmers.
Speaking of something I’ve been wanting to try is the Vera Mona Color Switch. Don’t ask me why I haven’t just bought it myself. It’s an easy way to clean your brushes between using colors. Haven’t you ever accidentally dipped into a super dark color when you meant to use a light one?! I know I have and this gets the darkest of colors off your brush.
Fab Fit Fun picks one of two items for every subscriber. Again, I lucked out and received the item I would have chosen. You get either the NailsInc Thirsty Hands Hand Mask or the Cuccio Somatology Calm + Clean Epsom Salt Hand and Body Wash $39.95.
So, there’s no way that I would pay the price FFF lists for the Hand and Body Wash, but I’ll still use it up. It has Lavender Oil in it, so it smells just like the spa. My husband has been using this consistently and really thinks the Epsom Salt helps with sore and fatigued muscles.
Items 7 & 8:
- DryBar Pep Rally Prep & Prime Detangler $23
- MakeUp Eraser in Original Pink $20
Again, two items that have definitely been on my mind to try out. I use a heat protectant on my hair every time I dry my hair, so I definitely will get use out of the DryBar Prep & Prime. I’ve used it a handful of times already and the one tip I have is to be careful how high you spray it. It can leave your roots feeling like you just put in dry shampoo.
The MakeUp Eraser really works. I like to use it when I don’t feel like doing my standard double cleanse with a cleansing balm and then a regular cleanser. I do think I tug at my skin a little bit more than usual, which is obviously not great for your skin. I also feel like it gets stained from mascara easily.
Each season FFF opens up Add On’s. These are items that you pay extra for to add them to your box. They are EXTREMELY discounted! And they always have products that I love! Each day it’s open you can check back for re-stocks or additional new items.
This time I got the Kate Somerville Exfolikate Moisturizer for $29. It retails for $65! This is one of my favorite moisturizers of all time. I think this makes the 4th or 5th jar I’ve used. How embarrassing?! It just makes your skin glowy and youthful. Who doesn’t want that?
I also wanted to try the Becca Champagne Crème Glow Gloss for $11. Normally $22. And boy, this did not disappoint. I have used this every day. I love the look it gives with its micro glitters. Definitely worth the try.
I definitely think this has been my absolute favorite box. I found so many good things that I can use every day. The total value of my box was $284! That’s crazy. Especially when you only spend $50 on it. And if you use my promo code below, you get the whole box for $40.
If there are selections you want, hurry and get your box. The longer you wait the more likely FFF is to run out of the item you’re wanting. The winter box is still available! Don’t miss this incredible box.
The Spring Box is set to come out in March. I’ll be back with the next review. What’s your favorite Subscription Box?
